For generations, exploring the Caribbean often meant relying on insider tips — a cousin who knew a boat captain or a neighbor who could arrange a snorkeling trip. But now, a new digital platform is changing that. Caribbean Travel & Tours (CTT), founded by Montreal-born, island-raised Casey Davy, is transforming how travelers discover, book, and experience the Caribbean while keeping tourism revenue where it belongs — in the region itself.
A Vision Rooted in Culture and Community
When asked what makes the Caribbean special, Davy’s answer comes instantly: “The people. Beaches we can find everywhere, but it’s the people and their authentic experiences that make it special.” That belief sits at the heart of CTT — a marketplace built to connect global travelers directly with local businesses and communities, giving small operators visibility in a digital world often dominated by global booking giants.
Davy, who also heads the parent company Breeze Travel Solutions, spent years working in travel tech before turning his attention homeward. His earlier company, Busy Rooms, managed online hotel distribution for thousands of clients worldwide. But while Europe and North America were embracing digital transformation, Davy noticed that the Caribbean’s rich tourism scene still ran on word-of-mouth and personal connections.
“You often have to know somebody,” he recalls. “Because one vendor doesn’t have a website and another isn’t on Instagram.” That gap inspired him to create a system where those hidden local gems — the family-run hotels, the trusted drivers, the one-of-a-kind experiences — could reach a global audience.
More Than a Booking Site
Caribbean Travel & Tours operates as a digital marketplace, not a traditional online travel agency. The difference is crucial. Instead of pushing generic resort packages, CTT bundles flights, stays, transfers, and community-led tours while offering flexibility and personalization through AI-driven planning tools.
Travelers can choose between three options:
Pre-curated itineraries, like cultural deep dives or wellness retreats designed with local curators.
Build-your-own trips, allowing flexibility and control.
AI-assisted itineraries, which suggest off-the-beaten-path destinations based on user interests.
Even better, the company’s in-destination mobile app acts as a personalized guide once you arrive. Using real-time location data, it can highlight nearby restaurants, hikes, or cultural events. “If you’re in Jamaica’s Blue Mountains,” Davy says, “the app might tell you to stop at Strawberry Hill for lunch. Or in Barbados, it could point you to the best bread pudding on the island.”
Seamless Multi-Island Travel
Perhaps the platform’s most ambitious feature is its multi-island travel capability — a long-standing challenge in Caribbean tourism. Traditionally, island-hopping required separate bookings, multiple currency conversions, and local contacts. CTT solves this by integrating logistics across borders.
“In 2026, we’ll have multi-island Carnival itineraries,” Davy says. “St. Vincent and St. Lucia, Barbados and Grenada — or all four for the true Carnival warriors.” This approach allows travelers to explore the region holistically, showcasing the diversity of its cultures, cuisines, and celebrations.
Empowering Local Businesses
Beyond convenience for travelers, Davy’s vision is deeply rooted in economic impact. “We’re always trying to make sure that some of the revenue being generated in the Caribbean actually stays in the Caribbean,” he explains.
Through Breeze Travel Solutions, CTT partners with governments and tourism boards to digitize small businesses. The company helps hotels install booking systems, trains local tour guides in online marketing, and creates digital storefronts for vendors who’ve operated offline for decades. For some, it’s their first introduction to global e-commerce.
“Sometimes it’s as simple as building a small website for a boutique hotel that had none,” says Davy. “We’re really trying to help them help themselves.”
Opportunities for Creators and Entrepreneurs
CTT also redefines the role of influencers in tourism. Instead of short-term sponsored posts, creators can curate itineraries and earn commissions (5–10%) on every booking inspired by their content. The model ensures creators stay connected to destinations they promote and locals benefit directly from increased bookings.
This fall, CTT is debuting its Culinary Ambassador Series, beginning with Barbados-born, Miami-based Chef Paul Griffith. Guests will learn to cook Caribbean dishes from scratch, discovering the history and culture behind each meal. “Food is one of the purest ways to understand a culture,” Davy says.
Future-Proofing Caribbean Tourism
Looking ahead, Caribbean Travel & Tours is investing in AI and voice technology to make Caribbean destinations discoverable as travel search evolves. “If these operators aren’t digitized, they won’t be found,” Davy warns. “Unless you happen to have a friend on the ground.”
This forward-thinking approach aims to secure a sustainable future for Caribbean tourism — one where local businesses thrive in a digital economy, travelers gain richer experiences, and cultural authenticity isn’t lost in mass marketing.
A Human Approach to Innovation
For Davy, Caribbean Travel & Tours is more than a business — it’s a way to reshape the future of his homeland. “Tourism isn’t just being a concierge or a driver,” he says. “There’s technology, there’s asset management, there’s marketing. There’s an opportunity for people to build generational wealth.”
In essence, CTT is building a bridge — between travelers seeking real connection and the Caribbean communities ready to share their world. By combining modern innovation with regional pride, Casey Davy’s platform is redefining what Caribbean travel looks like: authentic, inclusive, and future-ready.
