Celebrate Travel Advisor Appreciation Month With These Special Offers

This year, Global Travel Advisor Day will be celebrated on May 7 — but suppliers across the travel industry are showing their appreciation for travel agents across the entire month of May.

From booking incentives and bonus commission to free trips, the following special offers are available to travel advisors as part of this year’s Travel Advisor Appreciation Month.

ALG Vacations

For Travel Advisor Appreciation month, ALG Vacations (ALGV) is offering a number of perks for its partners. Among them: 15% Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flights (ENVF) commission. To help advisors close more business, it is also offering a best price guarantee, now extended to international and Hawaii trips through the end of the year; an exclusive promo code for savings of up to $250; ENVFs beginning at $229 roundtrip; group travel credit up to $1,500 for qualified bookings; $100 in premium air credit; and additional savings, including up to 70% off hotels.  

Advisors can also win special prizes through global giveaways, including trips to Europe, the South Pacific, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and more. One grand prize getaway to Dubai will be offered, including air. ALGV will also host weekly social media games to help advisors boost their destination knowledge. 

Azamara Cruises

During May, Azamara Cruises is highlighting its new Alaska Educational Program, part of the Azamara World Academy platform. By competing the course, advisors will unlock special benefits, including $100 bonus commission on bookings within 30 days of graduation; additional CLIA credits; the weekly chance to win a special gift if they share a photo of their (or their client’s) Azamara voyage on the Azamara Alliance Travel Partner Group Facebook page; a certificate and “Alaska Specialist” logo; and a commemorative pin for the first 100 graduates. 

All month, advisors can also earn double group amenity points on select sailings.

CIE Tours

CIE Tours is celebrating advisors with a monthlong series of giveaways. One advisor will win the grand prize of a nine-day trip for two to Spain, stopping in Madrid, Seville, Granada, Valencia and Barcelona. Agents can enter to win by completing an online form by 11:59 p.m. on May 6. The winner will be announced on May 7. 

In addition, for every CIE vacation booked between May 1-31, advisors will be automatically entered into a daily drawing for the chance to win a $100 e-gift card.

Delta Vacations

This month, Delta Vacations is offering travel advisors the chance to win a trip to Hawaii or Jamaica, including airfare and hotel. The 31 advisors with the most bookings in May will win a trip, and every booking boosts advisors’ chances. 

Agents can also offer exclusive savings to their clients; for bookings made in May for travel by Dec. 31, SkyMiles members can save up to $250 with promo code SMMAY25. Advisors can deliver this value to clients traveling a minimum of two nights in the U.S., Canada, Mexico or Central America; a four-night minimum is required for Europe, South America and other international destinations. 

Disney Destinations

For the month of May, Disney Destinations has set up a Travel Advisor Appreciation Station at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Florida. Advisors with IATA or CLIA identification can enjoy a refreshment, chat with Disney’s Travel Agency Sales team and enjoy a special surprise or two. The station is scheduled to be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Advisors also have the chance to request a one-day, one-park ticket for Animal Kingdom admission for themselves and up to two guests. Disney is offering a limited number of complimentary tickets, and each advisor may request tickets for one day only in May. Agents can register using their Disney Travel Agents website login email address. 

At Disney Springs, advisors can also enjoy limited-time deals on dining, shopping and entertainment at select locations, with valid IATA/CLIA identification. 

Finally, in California, the Disneyland Resort will also host a Travel Advisor Appreciation Station June 6-8. An exclusive lounge will offer special treats, connections with the sales team and other surprises. 

Explore Worldwide

Small-group adventure tour operator Explore Worldwide has announced a booking bonus contest for advisors, running May 1-31. For every Explore booking made during the contest period (with a 10% deposit received by May 31), advisors will automatically receive an entry in the contest, for the chance to win a trip of their choice. Prize trip options range from a nine-day highlights of Morocco tour and an eight-day walking trip on Italy’s Amalfi Coast to an eight-day cycling trip in France. The winner will be announced June 13.

Advisors also have the chance to take part in Explore’s “Book 5, Get 1 Free” incentive, available through June 30, with the chance for agents to earn a free trip for every five bookings they make. Explore’s special incentive also offers a 50% discount for advisors to travel with the company after making their first booking, along with 25% off for companions. 

Nocturne Luxury Villas 

Nocturne Luxury Villas is offering its advisor partners 3% bonus commission on new bookings made between May 1-31 across its six partner brands, bringing earning potential up to 13-15% commission in total, depending on the brand.

Perillo Tours 

Throughout the month of May, Perillo Tours (which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year) is offering advisors an $80 gift card for every new guest booking on available Perillo Italy escorted tours or Perillo Custom Vacations trips to Italy. There is no limit to the number of gift cards agents can earn during the incentive period, though they must be registered with Perillo to be eligible.

Pleasant Holidays and Journese

Pleasant Holidays and luxury sister brand Journese are offering free trips and bonus loyalty points to advisors as a gesture of appreciation. The top sales producer by revenue (for both brands combined) will win the grand prize: six hotel nights in Hawaii (three nights each at The Kahala Hotel & Resort and The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort) and 5,000 Trip points. The second-highest producer will win 5,000 bonus Trip points. Advisors will also have the chance to win daily prizes of 1,000 Trip points from May 1-31, which will be awarded for top daily sales by revenue for each brand. 

Rental Escapes

Luxury villa company Rental Escapes is offering advisors the chance to earn up to $5,000 in bonus commission on bookings made in May for stays between May 8, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2026. Agents can also earn double reward points on all bookings made during the month, which can be redeemed for their own villa vacation.

Resort for a Day 

Resort for a Day, which provides resort day passes for cruise passengers, is offering 50% bonus commission on new bookings to select Greek Isles resorts. The incentive — running May 1-31 for travel dates in 2025 — applies to day passes booked in Athens, Mykonos, Corfu, Santorini and Rhodes. Advisors can sign up or log into the company’s travel agent portal to access their unique booking link. 

Riviera Travel 

Advisors who make five Rivera Travel bookings between May 1 and June 30 can earn up to $1,000 in Amazon gift cards (first booking starts at $50, with incentive increasing incrementally from there). 

The bookings must be new for travel in 2025 or 2026, and confirmed with a deposit or final payment by June 30. Advisors who make more than five bookings will earn an additional $100 Amazon gift card for each extra booking. Bookings are counted per cabin, with group bookings eligible. All bookings must be registered to qualify. 

Silversea 

During the month of May, all eligible U.S. and Canadian advisors who book clients on a classic or expedition Silversea cruise will be entered for the chance to win a Caribbean cruise.

Tourism Cares

Tourism Cares is arming travel advisors with the tools they need to embrace sustainability this May. Throughout the month, the nonprofit will provide exclusive resources to help advisors plan more sustainable travel, including a Meaningful Travel Client Checklist to help prepare travelers to vacation responsibly, a webinar on May 19 and free one-on-one sustainability consultations that are usually only available to members.

For every new booking made between May 1-31, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is offering registered advisors a $50 e-gift card. To earn the reward, agents should use the the promo code “TAI2501-U” in the United States or “TAI2501-C” in Canada. 

Advisors can also offer past Uniworld guests limited-time perks, including a $1,000 per person bonus on select sailings and up to $500 off per person for River Heritage Club members on all 2025 cruises. River Heritage Club members also enjoy double referral program credits and receive $200 off their next booking when they refer new-to-Uniworld guests by June 30.
