TORONTO — Tour operators, airlines, cruise lines and more have stepped up once again with special incentives for Travel Agent Day.
A majority of the offers run all through May, as many suppliers make the most of the season with Travel Agent Appreciation Month perks.

ACTA
In honour of Travel Agent Day, ACTA has launched a social media contest that includes prizes like a 3-night stay for two at Secrets St. Lucia; a 3-night stay for two at Secrets Aruba; and a 5-night stay for two at Dreams Playa Esmeralda Punta Cana. AIR CANADA & AIR CANADA VACATIONS
Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations are celebrating Travel Agent Appreciation Month with a big prize giveaway for travel advisor partners, offering 50 prizes in all including a pair of Economy Class tickets to any Canadian destination Air Canada flies, ACV&ME points, future travel vouchers and more. AMAWATERWAYS
Travel advisors who have completed all five courses in AmaWaterways’ AmaAcademy program have the chance to enter weekly drawings for a European river cruise for two by attending the line’s Webinar Wednesday sessions throughout the month. One grand prize winner—who attends all four webinars and has created a co-branded AmaWaterways website—will receive a seven-night river cruise on the Magdalena River. Plus, for every new booking on a 2025 departure, advisors will receive a Cdn$100 gift card, while those who book one of the company’s Hot 100 Dates will receive a C$200 total gift card.
AZAMARA CRUISES
Azamara Cruises is saying a big “thank you” to travel advisors with month-long tools, incentives and promotions for Travel Agent Appreciation Month. Throughout the month of May, travel advisors can expect a series of special offerings designed to enhance their education and earn greater commissions and rewards. At the heart of the month-long celebration is the launch of Azamara’s new Alaska Educational Program, now available on the Azamara World Academy platform at In addition, through the end of May, travel advisors can earn Double Group Amenity Points on select sailings.
ATLANTIS PARADISE ISLAND
From May 1-31 Atlantis is offering agent incentives for all bookings at The Coral, The Royal, The Cove, Harborside, and The Reef Towers. Commission rates are 18% commission for rooms and 20% commission for suites (available for both consortia and non-consortia bookings at all hotels). Hereʻs a look at the exclusive gift cards for Atlantis Ambassadors: $25 gift card per booking at The Coral; $50 gift card per booking at The Royal; and $75 gift card per booking at The Cove and The Reef, Gift cards will be issued upon completed stays, and are not applicable for cancelled bookings. The advisor with the highest booked revenue across all hotels will win a stay at the resort. There’s also a prize for the advisor with the highest revenue specifically at The Cove, to receive a luxurious stay at the all-suite property. Hurtigruten is celebrating Travel Advisor Appreciation Day all this May by giving away a cruise package for two, including flights, to Norway. The prize is worth more than $12,000. All advisors part of Hurtigruten’s travel advisor Facebook page at www.facebook.com/groups/hurtigrutentravelpartnersamericas/.agentportal.hurtigruten.com are automatically included in the draw. Advisors who are not registered can join and be eligible to win as well. Unregistered advisors must join the Facebook page by May 31. The winner will be drawn on June 2 and notified that day.
INTREPID TRAVEL
Intrepid is launching two big initiatives: a North America-wide storytelling contest and the debut of their new monthly recognition series, ʻIntrepid Icons.ʻ From now until May 14, travel agents are invited to submit their favourite Intrepid moment – be it heartwarming, hilarious or life-changing – for a chance to win one of three exclusive prizes. The grand prize is an Intrepid small-group adventure valued at up to US$3,000, second place prize is a complimentary Urban Adventure for two (US$300 value) and third place is a copy of The Intrepid List book. Intrepid says: “Email your story (photo optional) to [email protected] with subject line: My Favorite Intrepid Moment.” Winners will be announced May 16 on Intrepid’s Agent Hub and Facebook Community. PAL AIRLINES
PAL Airlines is launching its Agent Appreciation Event of the Month, with four prizes valued at $250 each. Prizes will be drawn randomly and awarded to the agency. Agency must have booked with PAL Airlines in 2025 and must be IATA accredited or a TIDS agency. Prize draws will take place during the first week of June, and winners will be announced on the PAL Airlines Travel Agent Booking Platform.
REGENT SEVEN SEAS CRUISES
With Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Travel Partner Appreciation Month incentive, open to travel advisors in the U.S. and Canada, agents can earn a $300 gift card for every newly deposited booking on any 2025 sailing made from May 1 – 31, 2025. In addition, for every gift card earned advisors receive one entry into a cash prize draw, with the winner receiving $10,000, second place receiving $5,000, and third receiving $2,500.
