When asked what the number-one place you wish to travel to in 2025 was, The Block’s Shelly Craft says Italy was at the top of her list.

“We are dreaming of a white Christmas in 2025,” she tells 9Travel.

The Block judge Shaynna Blaze echoed the sentiment that she was “hoping” for a white Christmas. ”Finland, Lapland and Iceland” are on her travel list.

Europe remains popular for Aussies at any time of year, and The Block’s Darren Palmer says he will be there in 2025.

“We’re going back to Spain and France mid year. Some family time and some exploring places with our son,” he shares.

Of course, Japan is one of the hottest destinations right now and The Hundred’s Mike Goldstein, as well as MAFS expert Mel Shilling are both planning an Asian escape.

“Tokyo. Clean, efficient and a restaurant with fighting robots. What more could you ask for?” Mike says.

And Mel adds: “We are all intrigued by Japanese culture, art, fashion, media and food and can’t wait to immerse ourselves (and I, personally am obsessed with blossoms).”

60 Minutes journalist Dimity Clancey has grand plans to take the kids to Disneyland.

Meanwhile, plenty of stars are also keen to visit some places a little closer to home. Andy Lee is hoping to head across the ditch to New Zealand for a golfing holiday.

And tropical getaways are on the cards for 9News’ Natalia Cooper and Getaway presenter Catriona Rowntree.

“I’m just a little intrigued about the Island of Lemurs in Madagascar, is it real or a Disney dream? Only one way to find out… beg my Getaway Boss!” Catriona tells 9Travel.

“A little closer to home, I’m looking forward to taking my children back to where I went for my Honeymoon… Aitutaki, Cook Islands. Just get me to the world’s most beautiful lagoon pronto,” she adds.

Natalia shares: “I’m heading to the Cocos Islands for a close friend’s wedding. I can’t wait. It looks like an absolute paradise,” Natalia shares.

In case you haven’t heard of them, the Cocos (Keeling) Islands are a remote territory of Australia in the Indian Ocean.
